How your baby's growing: Your new resident is nearly an inch long — barely the size of a grape — and weighs just a fraction of an ounce, but he's poised for rapid weight gain now that his basic physical structure is in place. He's also starting to look more and more human. His embryonic "tail" is now completely gone and his body parts — including organs, muscles, and nerves — are kicking into gear. (more)

This has been an interesting journey so far. Thankfully I had done a lot of reading before we tried to get pregnant because you name the symptom, and it's been thrown at me. (more)

You know, I wish it were February. I want to hold my baby. I want to hold him or her and wash him or her in the waters of Holy Baptism. I want to hold my baby. I simply want to hold my baby.

Is it Pity, or What?

Gen often feels sick. I don't like it when she feels sick. She tells me not to feel bad, because what she's feeling is normal. That doesn't make it any better. I know it's normal.

I wish there were something I could do to make her feel better. I wish there was something I could do to make the sick feeling go away.

Yeah, I guess it's not feeling bad. It's only that I'm happy when she's happy...I like to see her happy.
