I woke up to Robert looking like this...

He has had a cough for a few days, we gave him pediacare for the first time last night. He also drank about a tablespoon of ebm from one of those waxy bathroom cups for the first time last night. But I'm not thinking allergic reaction because it's just his face - nowhere below the neck.

The pictures aren't the best - it's much redder in real life. Tried to get better pics, but the battery died.

Ideas?

**Edit** Well, I called Angie and she gave me a few different kiddo diseases to look up. It looks as though it's probably fifths disease. It's not hives (I have a HUGE history with those - and Robert has had his share, too) - and we really don't think it's the pediacare since we gave it to him almost 12 hours ago. It fits the description of fifths almost perfectly... red, lacy rash that starts on the face and may spread to the trunk and arms, may or may not have low fever and may accompany virus-like symptoms. Only annoying, no medical attention necessary. Treat the fever and keep him away from pregnant women - especially first trimester - as fifths can cause miscarriage.

So that's what we're going with for right now. We'll watch him and take him to urgent care if we think it warrants.

Thank you, all =)
