Well, that's what "they" would like you to believe. Of course, there are experts that say otherwise, too. Remember the egg, anyone? One moment it's good, the next it's bad.

Here, we have milk, though. We both like milk. We go through it quicker than gas (perhaps, given its price per gallon, it's a good thing cars don't run on it). But it's one of those things Genevieve cannot tolerate.

We were going to go into the city today to get some shopping done. True, the shopping needs to get done, but we need to get out of Marion, too. So, I had planned to go to Sioux Falls today (I refrain from saying "we" because I had hoped to moderately surprise Genevieve).

Who knew a bowl of cereal would change my plans?

It did, but it's no matter, really. These kinds of plans can be put on hold while one's stomach recouperates. In fact, we now plan to go tomorrow, after catechesis.

But that stomach. I have said it many times, now. I always wish there were something I could do to make her feel better. Yes, she says my presence is enough, but that's different! I wish there were something I could do to take the discomfort away. Alas, I'm not Jesus, I just stand in His stead as pastor.

Well, we'll see you tomorrow, Sioux Falls!
