Robert is, I mean. He rolled over for the first time today. He's been trying for a week now, but today I left him on his tummy when I left for a potty break, and when I returned, he was on his back. Don't worry... he was on the floor =) He did it again for us, then once more for the video camera.
I don't really follow the what babies are supposed to do when stuff, but a few friends have told me this is really early. Good for him, I guess. I mean, I'm glad he's healthy and strong. but I wish he wouldn't rush through the cuddly baby phase in the process.
So I'll make up for that right now.
As a warning to dial-up internet users (this is you, Mom) - there are a lot of pictures under the link... it may take awhile for them to load.
These are in reverse order from newer to older.

Robert got a "perfect" bill of health from the doctor (and a 3rd year med student) today.

Robert has been sleeping a lot lately. I probably shouldn't complain, but it kind of freaks me out. Like, today...

We've been up to a lot here lately. We had one of the two annual pastors conferences this past week, and for the first time I didn't go to the meetings... I stayed in the room with Robert for most of the conference. We had a great time!
Robert's been cooing and smiling and laughing (as of last night... according to Geof - I haven't heard it yet). He's starting to grab for things and he holds his head up really well now - not much shaking anymore.
He's also growing like crazy. He's in the premium sized prefold diapers now and we had to go up to the medium fuzzi bunz because he was pretending to be a plumber in the smalls =) He's into the 3-6 month sleepers for the most part, too... because of the big ol' cloth diapers. Sadly, he has totally outgrown his coming home outfit as well as his white Gator's sleeper. At least he still has another couple of bigger Gator's creepers. We'll post pictures as soon as we take them. Speaking of pictures... I'll post a few more recent ones later. Stay tuned =)
